About me:

My interest in photography stems from a April 2016 trip to Israel for which I bought a Sony DSC- HX400V bridge camera to record the event. I enjoyed the experience of taking photographs for which I had to think a about context and composition with a little more effort than merely getting my phone out and snapping a pic. I joined Cupar Camera Club at the start of the 2017 season as a complete novice. But I’d found a bunch of folk who were friendly and willing to give of their time to help me develop as a photographer. These days my kit is a Fuji mirrorless XT2 camera and three FujiX lenses. I’ve still got an absolute load to learn, but enjoying the experience of being prompted to try new genres of photography by way of entering the club’s competitions. Hence the diversity of my portfolio.
