Season’s End

Subject: Cupar Camera Club – meetings update

On Thursday 24 March we will have a presentation by Malcolm Hupman on British Wildlife Photography.  Apart from showing some of his exceptional images, he will be advising on camera setups, etc.

The following week (31 March) we will be having a member discussion evening in advance of the AGM when decisions are ratified.  Topics to be included will be meeting format(s) for the 2022/23 season, competitions (number of competitions, reintroduction of prints, some Rules changes, etc), creation of new posts/responsibilities, Internet/Wi-Fi access update.  Please let me know if you have a topic for consideration.  If you will not be attending this meeting but have particular views on any topic, please let me know by email in advance.

On a personal note, I am somewhat bemused today to discover that my image Spheres that really bombed at  the Inter Fife competition on Sunday, was awarded Third place in a highly competitive Division 1 & 2 competition at Dundee Photographic Society last night.  I am beginning to think that Werner’s view of judges might well be correct!!!

Best wishes
